After-School Program

Girls Inc.’s after-school programming serves girls K-12 grades in a safe, fun, pro-girl environment. Trained staff provide mentoring relationships and deliver research-based programming designed to help girls grow up healthy, educated, and independent. The bus drops the members (ages 5-18) off at Girls Inc. after they are released from school. They enjoy a healthy snack and an opportunity to work on their homework. We also offer several programs, including some of the Identity Programs. Each month has a theme that all programs are planned around. All themes relate to helping the girls learn to live strong, smart, and bold lifestyles.

Girls Inc.’s identity programs are age-appropriate, research-based, and designed to specifically meet the needs of today’s girls including but not limited to: STEM, leadership, literacy, self-esteem building, healthy relationship building, anti-bullying, nutrition, physical fitness, drug abuse prevention, financial literacy, and life skills.

After School Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30pm to 6:00pm

If you have any questions or would like to know more about any of our after-school program offerings, please contact Girls Inc.’s Office Manager, Amy Chandler, at amy@girlsincjc.org or 317-736-5344.
